La 17^ Maratona di Roma del 20 marzo 2011, recentemente certificata “IAAF Road Race Gold Label”, ha chiuso ieri il primo step di iscrizioni. Analizzando i dati, spicca l’incremento del 31,7% degli iscritti provenienti dall’estero. Dato che, in prospettiva potrebbe far registrare un numero di partecipanti stranieri notevolmente superiore a quello delle passate edizioni. La promozione internazionale che gli organizzatori stanno portando avanti da settimane, grazie anche al supporto delle istituzioni locali, sta dando i suoi primi importanti frutti.
